Day #4 - part 2

Back after lunch, we kept on carving.
We have until tomorrow to carve the head. Probably more after that, but main shape and details should be done.

We were told to do all the global/overall shape finished, before starting on the details.

Then I started in the ears and the eyes.

Carving takes time when your not used to it.
It's a totally different approach then sculpting.
Subtracting instead of adding.

It is quite fun though. :)

"Hepatitten tei" is looking quite cool and dangerous. ;)
The moveable jaw and teeth works great.

The body is now also cut, so carving on it will start tomorrow.

I have picked out a few chisels to buy, and a piece of wood.
So I can get started on a tiny puppet...

There's a "portfolio night" tomorrow - and then 2 days off.
I need to fill this time with more the "tourist" stuff.

Now dinner.
