Day #3

Today we gather for a field trip.
After about 30 min of traveling on tram, metro and bus - we reached our destination.

One of the world? largest private collection of old chezh puppets!






It was unbelievable! Every room in the old woman's apartment was filled with marionette - mainly wire puppets.



What was striking was the craftsmanship! Beautifully carved and costumed.



But my absolute favorite was the green "monster".
I had eyes that could protrude, articulated eyebrows, mouth mech and long fingers.











And as if that wasn't enough, she had another "apartment" next by, just as overfilled as her place. (also a basement we where told!)









But as with eating good cake, you reach a kind of "limit". ;)












Back to the workshop to hopefully start carving the head.
